Good good and fresh. Owner and staff all friendly. German decor and owner history. German and American food. German potato salad was delish! Indoor and Outdoor seating, small building.

I ate here with my husband for our anniversary weekend. We loved the jagerschnitzel, red cabbage, and german potato salad Wonderful hospitality and great German food! 10/10 recommend. You will not be disappointed.

In an area starving for eateries, this rustic diner is an unexpected treat. This was my first time dining here, and I ordered the jaeger schnitzel, a traditional German dish. Very good! Dessert was quite pleasant as well. Though they feature several German-inspired items, they also offer American staples. Come for the food, come for the beauty of the area (Mammoth Cave/Nolin River Lake), come and meet this endearing German couple who will most likely welcome you with their unique brand of Southern hospitality and charm.

I WILL HOLLER AT THIS CAFE EVEN IF IM BLUE!!! Jasmine, was our server. Claudia is the owner.. We also met the had cook and another waitress. By the end of our meal, we had 4 employees sitting with me, my wife and my dog, I don't know if it was my wife's beauty, my dog's handsomeness, or the way I smelled, but this whole establishment really magnetized to us. We sat there until the Sun. Went down. Had some of the best German food around in years. Potato salad, holy Moly. It was warm. It had bacon in it. Did I tell you Claudia is from Germany? She is one heck of a cook. Great lady and an all around 5 star establishment. I wish they were open on Sunday Easter, because I would go back. Thank you guys again. And whenever we're in the area of mammoth caves, this side of kentucky, we will stop back five stars for blue holler cafe. Us and Zen

Wonderful cafe! Love the bathroom sign in the men's restroom! Will plan to eat there when we are in town. Great food, great friendly service! Highly recommend.

Was just in the area visiting and seen it and had to stop in. What a great little restaurant would definitely recommend it. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing

Fantastic! Everything we had (a party of 6) was absolutely amazing. The service is exceptional and the owner is wonderful. I highly recommend this place to anyone, but come hungry!!! Portions are plentiful and tasty!

I love this place! The food is so good! I've never had any complaints with the food or service. Portions are more than enough! We always leave completely satisfied!
